This newsletter can become a regular method of communicating with your email list. If you are genuine in your approach, it can be a great vehicle to build a rapport with your list.
Hochman stated that there are two approaches to take with email marketing.
You can either prewrite a series of letter that go out on scheduled dates. For example, it might be a teaching how to do a particular set of related skills. Each letter could take one skill and explain it in great detail.
Another option is writing as you go. This sort of letter could be single broadcast. Perhaps, you are promoting a local event. Or, a new product or opportunity just has come to your attention. So, you share it with your readers.
Hochman also stressed to write as if you are talking to one person. You want to build trust and be real. This is a new concept for me. I never really thought about writing for a single reader. However, it does makes senses.
