How Do You Create Meaningful, Quality Content? This is a question that I often ask myself. After listening in on some training by Adam Chandler, I am beginning to get a better idea of what to do. Adam teaches that we have to be doing three core activities on a regular basis. We have to:
*Build an Audience and a Network.
*Engage the Audience.
*Sell to the Audience.
When you think about content creating, it is easy to get stuck on what to write. Adam offered up the following ideas for creating content.
Types of Content to Create
*How to Content
*Industry and Product Reviews
When creating content, Adam encourages us to keep it real. He also is a firm believer in the concept of “Learn, Apply, and Teach.” Basically, you learn how to create the content, go create it, and then teach someone else how to the same. If you really want to learn how to do anything, teaching it to another person is the fastest way to learn a skill or concept.
Adam gives 7 tips to help us with our content creation.
*Tip #1: People love list. So make list that consists of 3, 5 or 7 items.
*Tip #2: Do cool stuff as a part of your lifestyle posting such share your next vacation sights on your Facebook profile.
*Tip #3: Ask a question and then answer it.
*Tip #4: Consistently grow your social media audience. Create content and post it on a regular basis.
*Tip #5: Steer up curiosity about your products and/or services. Use indirect marketing to create curiosity. Next time that you go to a company event, take some pictures and post them on your Facebook profile.
*Tip #6: Create quality content that solves a problem.
*Tip #7: Follow your niche’s leaders on social media platforms such a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, P-interest or LinkedIn.
Creating quality content is a skill that can be learned. So, do not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and give it a try. Like the old saying goes, “Practice Makes Perfect!”
