You Were Made to Thrive!

You were made to thrive! Now, take a few minutes and think on that statement. Do you really believe it?

Hopefully, you do believe that you were made to thrive. You deserve to have all of your needs met on a daily basis.  You deserve to be able to dream dreams and  have visions of your present and future life.

With that being said, what are your dreams? What are your visions for your present and future life?

You are only given so many hours each day. How are you using those hours? Are you living the life that you desire? If not, where do you begin?

A Starting Point

A good beginning place is to take a critical look at your present circumstances. How much of your present situation can you actually change immediately?

If you are in need of a job, start with a search of your job options by talking to family, friends, and former co-workers. One of those people may be the very one to give you a job lead.

If you are currently employed and hate your work, begin looking at your talents, strengths, and  hobbies. Those passions are clues to the job field that you should be investigating. Make a plan of action on how you can get into a job or work situation that you can enjoy.

Not sure how to do that? Seek out a professional coach to help you. If money is a problem, then check into your community resources. Your  place of worship may have free career counseling. Your local schools and/or colleges may be able to offer you career counseling. Or, your community may have business placement agencies that can help you with your new direction.

What About a Bucket List?

What is on your life’s bucket list? Have you even made a bucket list? If not, maybe it is time that you did. What are the goals that you want to accomplish before you get of this world? You are never too young or old to make that bucket list. Once the bucket list is made, it is time to start marking it off.

Personally, I do have a bucket list. I have been checking that list off since I was 18 years of age. Now, some of those items on my bucket list turned out fairly well and others not so well.  Many times, I have fallen flat on my face. Yet, I have gotten back up and made a decision to continue on the present path or to redirect my life. It has not always been easy, but my life has been richer due that bucket list.

I challenge you to take that critical look at your life. If you are not happy with the direction of your life, you can change it.

You see, I am a firm believer in living life to the fullest. I am only  going this way one time. So, I want to not just take up space and breath air. I  want to thrive!
